On May 13, 2021, the Feast day of Our Lady of Fatima, a Statue depicting Our Lady of Fatima wept.
This is quite a thought provoking incident as the scenario occurred on the day Our Lady of Fatima is being celebrated.
According to Ann Tom, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Miami, USA, a statue of Our Lady of Fatima wept.
Ann Tom, in her own thoughts said that the occurrence reminds us of Sister Lucia dos Santos' words that the most Holy Virgin is very sad because no one has paid attention to her messages.
This is quite thoughtful of Ann because almost, if not all of the messages of Our Lady of Fatima are not being heeded.
In one of her messages, Our Lady of Fatima pleads that men(and women) must stop offending God, because He is already so much offended. Now we see lots of nonchalant attitudes from people living secular lives.
In all of Our Lady's messages, she always show us the way to God. "My Soul magnifies the Lord" was her utterance in the Songs of Mary and till date, she still makes God big in all of her apparitions to those whom she wishes to show herself.
We should therefore use our own lives too to magnify God. Let those whom we encounter in our daily lives say within themselves that we serve a big God. Let people see us and see Jesus Christ within us. Let them know we are followers of Christ, although, following Christ is not easy but, Jesus' grace is sufficient for us. So we need to plead the grace of God to be able to lead a life worthy of emulation.
In the twelfth of the fifteen promises of Our Lady to those who pray the Holy Rosary, Our Lady promised to assist those who spread her messages in all their necessities. Help us then to spread Our Lady's messages to all and sundry, especially to those who thinks she is being worshipped by Catholics.
